‘The RORC has noted and is concerned about the severe weather warnings issued by the UK Met Office at 1208 on Friday 10 August 2007.
The first start for the Rolex Fastnet Race is planned for 1000 on Sunday 12 August. However competitors are advised that the RORC is considering postponing the start of the Rolex Fastnet Race by 24 hours. A further announcement will be made at the Rolex Fastnet Race briefing to be held at the Cowes Yacht Haven, Events Centre at 1600 on Saturday 11 August 2007.’
So we’ll see what tomorrow brings!
