North Sea Race..

…bit of prep still to be done.  Trying to solve water-tank problem – would make nice hot-tub/jacuzzi but not ideal for consumption!  Very pleased with hull finish after stripping down with Eco-Da System via Neil Baker. Hull now fully epoxied. Various tweaks and modifications given big improvements. New instruments much more helpful.

Progress on HB4

July 18th, 2010

Little by little the commissioning is progressing steadily – electronics and heating on board – mast stepping delayed on Friday by high winds – hopefully in water end of this week. Measurement on 29th July and trial pre-handover sail on 30th. We’ll see.
